Windows 8 installed with Workstation 9 that has Server Nov 02, 2014 Page Not Found After I installed Workstation on a Windows host, I received this message: "The VMware Authorization Service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the path specified." FIX for "The VMware Authorization Service is not running
" Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services " I am right-clicking on the setup and clicking, "run as administrator," but that isn't working. I have tried placing it in the root C:\ folder and installing from there. Page Not Found

Apr 18, 2020 vmware authorization service is not running - Microsoft May 11, 2020 The VMware Authorization Service is not running - Stack Type services in the Windows search bar. Open Services; scroll to the VMware Authorization Service (should be close to the bottom of the page) Double-click to open the Properties page of the service. Change the startup type to Automatic and then start the service. That way, the service will be Issue in VMware installation. | DeZyre
