This is sometimes required to access the Internet on a business or school network, for example. Your network traffic will be sent through the proxy you configure. Each Wi-Fi network has its own proxy settings. If you want to use the same proxy while connected to multiple Wi-Fi networks, you’ll need to configure this multiple times—once for each network. Click the “Proxy” tab to access the proxy settings for the network you selected. By default, “Direct Internet connection” is selected here. I personally find “free-proxy.cz” quite useful in discovering new proxy servers. Simply look for a reliable proxy, and note down its IP address and port number.
